The name of the General Directorate of Security is changing

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that a new organization law for the General Directorate of Security is being prepared, and that the institution's name will be changed to the Security Presidency.announced.

With the new law, the General Directorate of Security will turn into the Presidency of Security, and some department presidencies within the organization will become general dwill be raised to the level of apresidency.

Regarding the matter, Minister Yerlikaya stated, "To increase the institutional capacity of our General Directorate ofSecurityandto meet the needs oftoday,we areto a structure that will respond tothetransformation, our efforts to organize as the Presidency ofSecurity had begun and are continuing, hesaid.
