In the responses given by young people aged 17-26, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel outperformed AKP President Erdoğan.

In a public opinion poll conducted between September 12-14, ORC Research asked 960 young people aged 17-26 from 26 provinces, "Who is the party leader that young people like the most?"
The survey results are as follows:
Özgür Özel: 36%
R. Tayyip Erdoğan: 30.5%
Devlet Bahçeli: 14.7%
Ümit Özdağ: 12.5%
Müsavat Dervişoğlu: 10.5%
Tuncer Bakırhan: 9.8%
Teoman Mutlu: 9.6%
Fatih Erbakan: 8.4%
Yavuz Ağıralioğlu: 7.2%
Mahmut Arıkan: 6.3%
