It was claimed that AKP Istanbul Deputy Süleyman Soylu, who had written to the Ministry of Interior to return his armored vehicle but received no response, assigned one of his staff members to leave the vehicle at a location 1 kilometer away from the ministry.

It was suggested that Soylu, who experienced an armored vehicle crisis with the Ministry of Interior that he once led, would resign from the AKP.

According to a report by Yeni Şafak, which is known for its proximity to the government, a meeting took place between AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Süleyman Soylu in light of the recent developments.

It was stated that the meeting at the Palace took place upon Soylu's request.
