One of the attackers who fled after engaging in a shootout with police at the Pendik District Governor's residence in Istanbul has been captured. Efforts are underway to apprehend the other identified attacker.

Two motorcycle-riding attackers who engaged in a shootout with police officers waiting in front of the Pendik District Governor's residence had fled the scene.
SENT TO PRISON
Following the incident that occurred the night before, teams from the Public Security Bureau launched an investigation and detained S.Ö., who has 7 criminal records, mostly for theft, in Kadıköy. After his interrogation, S.Ö. was referred to court, arrested, and sent to prison.
It was learned that efforts are ongoing to capture the second person on the motorcycle, S.K., who has 31 criminal records.
