The Ministry of Family and Social Services has stepped in for Abuzer Doğan (71) and Zeynep Doğan (59), a couple living in Adıyaman. An "family counseling" process has been initiated for the family, who had twin daughters through IVF in the 34th year of their marriage.
The Doğan family, who reportedly sold their home to undergo IVF treatment, recently gained widespread attention on social media following their visit to Anıtkabir with their children.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş stated in a post on her social media account that the smiles on the faces of the Doğan family and their children are a source of hope for everyone. Göktaş expressed that the family would not be left alone in the process moving forward.
"Under the coordination of our Adıyaman Provincial Directorate, we have initiated the family counseling process for our family. We have made the necessary plans to meet all the basic needs of our children in their new home. Our teams will closely monitor every stage, from their education to their social needs."
Minister Göktaş emphasized that the support is not limited to meeting a single need, noting that their goal is to accompany the strengthening of the family and the safe growth of the children.
Ministry teams are planned to conduct follow-ups on the Doğan family's new living arrangements, the children's basic needs, their educational processes, and social support topics.
