The ETİ City and Migration Museum, which belongs to the Turkic World Foundation and whose foundations were laid in 2015, covering an area of 600 m2, has been handed over to the Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA), where President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s son Bilal Erdoğan serves as the chairman of the high advisory board.
According to the report by Meltem Karakaş from Eskisehir.net, Ömer Faruk İnan, who served as an Odunpazarı Municipality CHP Council Member between 2019 and 2024, announced on his Facebook account that the ETİ City and Migration Museum sign had been removed and replaced with a TÜGVA sign.
According to the information obtained, it was learned that the area would be used as a coffeehouse and that construction work is ongoing inside.
"NO APPLICATION EXISTS"
The ETİ City and Migration Museum, which was also brought to the agenda in previous years by CHP Eskişehir Deputy Jale Nur Süllü, had been waiting to be opened for many years.
Süllü had announced that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism responded to her written parliamentary question regarding the ETİ City and Migration Museum, which could not be opened, by stating, "There is no application made for this museum."
