Thieves targeting tourists on metro and tram caught: The moments captured on camera
Two suspects who targeted tourists on the metro and tram in Istanbul were involved in three separate theft incidents. The suspects were arrested following the events, which were captured on security cameras.

Theft incidents targeting tourists on public transport lines in Istanbul have prompted police action. The investigation, which began with the theft of a tourist's wallet on the metro in Şişli, soon uncovered other incidents carried out using similar methods.
SAME SUSPECTS INVOLVED IN 3 INCIDENTS
Investigations determined that the wallet of an Indian national, K.M., was stolen at the Şişhane Metro Station on April 4, and 7 thousand 500 dollars belonging to a Libyan national, E.J.E.Q., was stolen at the Gülhane Stop on the Fatih T1 Tram Line on April 15.
Teams determined that all three separate theft incidents were carried out by the same individuals.
CAUGHT IN AN OPERATION
R.C. (46) and Y.M. (46), whose identities were established, were taken into custody during an operation conducted in Fatih on April 21. It was learned that the suspects had prior criminal records.
The two suspects, who were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station, were arrested by the court and sent to prison.
