Seyhan Municipality's MHP Council Member Şeyhmus Uçar openly threatened CHP Mayor Oya Tekin.

Speaking at the municipal council meeting, Uçar used the expression, "If we host our friends from the Ülkü Ocakları here, you won't have a place to enter Seyhan Municipality."

"IF WE HOST OUR FRIENDS FROM THE ÜLKÜ OCAKLARI HERE..."

Uçar said the following in his speech:

"I represent the Nationalist Movement Party here. Know this. You will watch your language. Do not exceed our limits of tolerance. If we then host our hearths, our friends from the Ülkü Ocakları here, you won't have a place to enter Seyhan Municipality."

"IS THIS A FREE-FOR-ALL?"

Seyhan Mayor Oya Tekin reacted to Uçar's speech, stating:

"What do you mean by bringing the Ülkü Ocakları? Who brought whom that you are bringing them? Is this a free-for-all? The Ülkü Ocakları are our youth living in this country, CHP youth are our youth, and AKP youth are our youth. What are you trying to do? We are talking here. What do you mean by bringing them?"

Sharing Uçar's threatening speech on her social media account, Tekin stated, "Can a politician treat the youth group of the party they represent as a source of threat? We will stand tall against those who use the language of violence, and we will conduct politics not with fists, but with our minds, our work, and our words. We will not divide anyone."
