Three major agreements between Turkey and Azerbaijan
Three agreements covering significant cooperation in the fields of agriculture, education, and trade have been signed between Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Important agreements were signed between the two countries in the presence of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Accordingly, a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the Turkey-Azerbaijan University was signed between the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan by Council of Higher Education President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar and Azerbaijani Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, while the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Veterinary Medicine between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan was signed by Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı and Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov.
The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the avoidance of double taxation with respect to taxes on income and the prevention of tax evasion and tax avoidance was signed by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek and Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov.
