Three minors who stabbed a taxi driver in Kadıköy have been caught

Three minors who stabbed a commercial taxi driver in Istanbul have been caught. One of the three minors, who all have criminal records, has been arrested.

Three minors who stabbed a commercial taxi driver in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul have been caught. Two of the minors, who are under 18 and have records for various crimes, were released, while one was arrested.

In the incident that took place in Kadıköy on March 5, three minors stabbed and injured 59-year-old taxi driver O.E.

As a result of the police investigation, it was determined that the suspects had hailed the taxi as customers, that the driver told them he could not take them because a tire was low on air and pulled the vehicle to the side of the road, and that the suspects then approached the driver, pulled a knife on him, and injured him in both arms.

Suspect A.A. (14) was caught at the scene by police. As the investigation continued, it was determined that the other suspects were O.Ş. (17) and S.A. (17). S.A. was caught on March 5, and O.Ş. was caught in the Beyoğlu district on March 7.

It was determined that the suspects had numerous records for crimes such as robbery, extortion, assault, theft, and pickpocketing, and that the minor named O.Ş. was also wanted for damaging public property.

Of the caught suspects, A.A. and S.A. were released by the judicial authorities to whom they were referred. O.Ş. was arrested and sent to prison.
