THY issues statement regarding aircraft issue during IMM's Italy trip
Turkish Airlines Press Consultant Yahya Üstün made a statement on his X account regarding the aircraft charter method used for the trip organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) to Italy with journalists. Üstün stated, "There is no situation where one of our scheduled flights was allocated to a private delegation."

Turkish Airlines Press Consultant Yahya Üstün announced that the trip to Italy organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality with journalists was conducted using an aircraft charter method.
Üstün stated, "The Rome trip of the Mayor and his delegation did not take place on one of our scheduled flights; rather, our Boeing-737 aircraft was allocated via a charter method upon a request received by Turkish Airlines."
Üstün's X post is as follows:
"We would like to clarify the statements regarding the claim that one of our scheduled flights was allocated for the Rome flights of IMM Mayor Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu and his delegation.
The Rome trip of the Mayor and his delegation did not take place on one of our scheduled flights; rather, our Boeing-737 aircraft was allocated via a charter method upon a request received by Turkish Airlines. There is no situation where one of our scheduled flights was allocated to a private delegation.
Respectfully announced to the public."
