Time set for YENİ Party's first open group meeting

The YENİ Party will hold its first open group meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) on Tuesday, August 4, under the chairmanship of Chairman Özgür Özel. While a formal application has been submitted to the Speaker of the Parliament, it was reported that the session will be held in the main hall at 11:30 AM.

The YENİ Party will hold its first open group meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. A formal application for the meeting, which will be chaired by Chairman Özgür Özel, has been submitted to the Speaker of the TBMM.

According to the application, the first open group meeting will take place tomorrow at 11:30 AM in the main hall of the TBMM.

The YENİ Party held its first closed group meeting on July 28, also chaired by Özgür Özel. During that meeting, the party's Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and the TBMM Group Administration were determined.

According to the decision made, Ankara Deputy Tekin Bingöl was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament for the YENİ Party.

The Group Executive Board includes Burhanettin Bulut, Veli Ağbaba, Turan Taşkın Özer, Seyit Torun, and Özgür Karabat.

Aliye Coşar was appointed as the TBMM Clerk Member, and Harun Özgür Yıldızlı was appointed as the Administrative Chief for the party.
