TKH reacts to imperialism's expansion in the Caucasus: US, take your hands off the Caucasus!

The Communist Movement of Turkey (TKH) described the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace agreement hosted by the US as an attempt to put the Caucasus on the bargaining table for imperialist interests, emphasizing that true peace in the region is only possible with the withdrawal of the US, NATO, and other imperialist powers.

In a statement regarding the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace agreement hosted by the US, the Communist Movement of Turkey (TKH) defined this agreement as an attempt to put the Caucasus on the imperialist bargaining table.

Stating that "no strategic issue in our region, including the Zangezur Corridor, can be used as a tool for the interest calculations of the US and NATO," the statement added, "Imperialism has never been seen to bring peace in history. True peace in the Caucasus is possible only through the complete withdrawal of NATO, the US, and all other imperialist centers from the region, and on the basis of equality, brotherhood, and solidarity among peoples."

The statement made by TKH is as follows:

"The US hosting the Azerbaijan-Armenia talks is an attempt to once again put the Caucasus on the bargaining table for imperialist plans. The future of the region should be shaped not in meetings in Washington, but in the hands of the peoples of the Caucasus.

No strategic issue in our region, including the Zangezur Corridor, can be used as a tool for the interest calculations of the US and NATO. The discourse of peace by imperialism is a mask for its desire to increase its military-political influence and control energy pipelines.

Imperialism has never been seen to bring peace in history. True peace in the Caucasus is possible only through the complete withdrawal of NATO, the US, and all other imperialist centers from the region, and on the basis of equality, brotherhood, and solidarity among peoples.
