TKP 14th Congress Turkey Conference held: 'Continue the struggle against imperialist wars'

The Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) gathered for its 14th Congress Turkey Conference, held on September 7-8, under the slogan "Deepening for Revolutionary Tasks, Revolution by Deepening, and Towards Socialism...". The conference, attended by approximately 400 delegates from across Turkey, determined the party's future revolutionary tasks and roadmap.

The conference comprehensively addressed topics including the Palestinian resistance and Israeli aggression, the war in Ukraine and Turkey's foreign policy, communism and international relations, the Kurdish question, immigration issues, the transformation of the Turkish economy, establishment politics, and the TKP's intervention in these matters. In light of these evaluations, the Political Report was unanimously adopted by the delegates.

'CONTINUE THE STRUGGLE AGAINST IMPERIALIST WARS'

At the congress, the TKP decided to continue its struggle against holding companies, NATO, and "imperialist wars," while aiming to fight for a secular social order and against drug use, particularly within the scope of youth outreach. Additionally, monitoring the steps taken by local governments for the public benefit and expanding the TKP's solidarity with Cuba in the fight against the blockade were among the adopted resolutions.

The conference also featured the premiere of videos prepared for the 104th anniversary of the Communist Party of Turkey, which will be celebrated on September 10. As part of the TKP's anniversary celebrations, these videos will be broadcast on TKP media channels on Tuesday, September 10.

The two-day conference concluded in an enthusiastic atmosphere with the playing of the Party Anthem. The TKP's 14th Congress Political Report and resolutions will be shared with the public in the coming days.
