Tractor carrying workers overturns in Manisa: 11 injured
In Alaşehir, Manisa, a trailer overturned after the tractor carrying workers from a vineyard rolled backward down a slope. 11 people, including the driver, were injured.

The accident occurred today at approximately 14:00. While M.E. (38) was driving his 45 ZT 785 plated tractor to take workers who had been working in the vineyard to their homes, the driver lost control as the tractor rolled backward while attempting to climb from a dirt side road onto the asphalt road in the Çataltepe area of the Alaşehir-Denizli highway. As the tractor rolled backward, the trailer first flipped over, and then the tractor came to a stop by leaning against the trailer. Numerous health, gendarmerie, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. In the accident, tractor driver M.E. and 10 workers in the trailer were injured. The injured were taken to Alaşehir State Hospital and a private hospital in the district for treatment. The gendarmerie's investigation into the accident is ongoing.
