Trade Minister Ömer Bolat asks for votes for ABB candidate Turgut Altınok

Trade Minister Ömer Bolat attended the MÜSİAD Ankara Traditional Iftar Program held at the Altındağ Culture Palace. In addition to Minister Bolat, Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, business people, entrepreneurs, and NGO representatives also took part in the program.

Providing information about economic developments in recent years, Minister Bolat said that Turkey has managed to grow its economy despite experiencing geopolitical problems, health crises, and economic difficulties over the last 4 years. Bolat pointed out that the national income, which they took over at 238 billion dollars in 2002, exceeded 1 trillion dollars in 2023 for the first time in Turkish history.

Minister Bolat added that the current account deficit, which was 60 billion dollars in May 2023, fell to 37.5 billion dollars in January of this year. Minister Ömer Bolat noted that when the February figures are announced, the current account deficit will fall to the 32 billion dollar level.

ASKED FOR VOTES FOR TURGUT ALTINOK

Reminding that there are 9 days left until the Local Administration Elections to be held on March 31, Minister Bolat stated, “On March 31, our dear nation will express its conscientious opinion, make its decision, and hopefully, the mayors and municipal council members who will manage our cities will be elected.
