The first workday after the holiday in Istanbul began with traffic. With the end of the mid-term break in schools, students and citizens heading to their workplaces took to the roads early in the morning.

The congestion on the first workday following the holiday return was captured on camera.

While citizens created crowds at Metrobus stations to get to work, it was observed that drivers were moving slowly at certain points due to the heavy vehicle traffic.

According to data from the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Cep Trafik application, traffic density across the city reached 62 percent as of 08:30.
