Traffic congestion on the first day of the week in Istanbul
Traffic congestion is being experienced in Istanbul on the first day of the week during the morning hours. According to data from the IMM Cep Trafik map, traffic density on the Anatolian Side has risen to 72 percent.

In the morning hours, congestion occurred on both sides of Istanbul on the D-100 highway, the TEM Motorway, and connecting roads.
On the D-100 highway, traffic is moving slowly in the directions of Topkapı and Zincirlikuyu around the Haliç Bridge due to metrobus route renovation works.
As part of the works, vehicles are struggling to move because one lane is closed to traffic in the Haramidere-Beylikdüzü direction.
Vehicle congestion is observed in the Çağlayan Junction-Beşiktaş direction, the Barbaros Boulevard-War Academies Junction direction, at the entrance to the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, and between the Okmeydanı Junction and Hasdal Junction.
Congestion is observed on the Basın Ekspres Road in both directions between the Çobançeşme Junction and the TEM Motorway, on side roads in Bağcılar, and on the Coastal Road between Yeşilköy and Ataköy.
On the Anatolian Side, vehicle congestion is being experienced on the D-100 highway, in Kartal, Ataşehir, Kadıköy, and Maltepe, on some streets in Üsküdar and Ümraniye, and on the connecting roads of the Eurasia Tunnel, the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.
CONGESTION ON THE ANATOLIAN SIDE AT 72 PERCENT
According to data from the IMM Cep Trafik map, traffic congestion, which rose to 67 percent in the early morning hours, was measured at 65 percent as of 09:00. On the Anatolian Side, traffic congestion rose to 72 percent.
