Tragic accident at a pedestrian crossing in Bursa: Mother dies, children injured
A car struck a mother and her 2 children as they were trying to cross the road at a pedestrian crossing in Bursa. The mother lost her life in the accident, while the children were injured.

The accident occurred on Fevzi Çakmak Street in the central Osmangazi district.
According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 16 AZV 313, driven by Recep Ö., struck mother Tuba Çival and her 2 children, R.Ç. (14) and M.Ç., who were in the process of crossing the road at the pedestrian crossing at that time.
Upon notification, numerous ambulance and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams arriving at the scene provided initial intervention to Tuba Çival, who was seriously injured, before transporting her to a nearby private hospital. The injured R.Ç. and M.Ç. were taken to surrounding hospitals.
The driver, Recep Ö., was taken into custody by police teams arriving at the scene to have his statement taken. The seriously injured mother could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital and lost her life.
The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
