Tragic accident in Adana: THY captain pilot Hasan Eren loses his life

In an accident in Adana where a shuttle bus carrying Turkish Airlines flight crew collided with a car, captain pilot Hasan Eren lost his life and 9 people were injured. It was reported that the condition of the injured is good and Eren's body has been taken to the morgue.

The accident occurred around 01:00 on Öğretmenler Boulevard. The shuttle bus with license plate 01 ATY 115, driven by Murat Koç, which was transporting the crew to their hotel following Turkish Airlines flight TK2472 from Istanbul to Çukurova, collided at an intersection with a car with license plate 31 APL 081, driven by Emirhan Özçelik.

Upon notification by bystanders, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.

The teams determined that captain pilot Hasan Eren, who was on the shuttle, had lost his life at the scene. Health teams transported the injured from the shuttle—Murat Koç, Stephane Paillotte, Alankus Demir, Burak Öner, Nazlı Zehra Soytürk, and Beyza Karaağaç—as well as those in the car—Emirhan, Selda, and Bedirhan Özçelik—to nearby hospitals by ambulance.

It was stated that the condition of the injured is good. While Eren's body was taken to the morgue, an investigation into the accident has been launched.
