Tragic accident in Konya: 4 people waiting at a bus stop killed after being struck by a car
In Konya, 4 people lost their lives and 5 others were injured after a car lost control and struck citizens waiting at a bus stop.

The accident that claimed the lives of 4 people occurred around 08:30 on the 25th kilometer of the Konya-Karaman highway, in the Ali Ulvi Kurucu neighborhood of the central Meram district.
According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 42 J 2873, driven by B.T. (39), lost control after the driver lost steering command and struck citizens waiting at the bus stop.
In the accident, Mordagül Tutgak (59), Elif Gül (42), Dudu Gül (33), and Nergiz Gül (48) lost their lives, while S.Ö., T.G. (13), who were waiting at the stop, and B.T. (43) and Ü.T. (16), who were passengers in the vehicle, as well as the driver B.T., were injured.
Konya Chief Public Prosecutor Halil İnal conducted investigations at the scene regarding the accident. 2 Public Prosecutors and 1 Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor have been assigned to the case.
VEHICLE DRIVER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
In a statement made by the Prosecutor's Office, it was stated: "As a result of the traffic accident that occurred on the Konya-Karaman road, 4 of our citizens have lost their lives and 5 of our citizens have been injured. Konya Chief Public Prosecutor Halil İnal conducted investigations at the scene regarding the accident."

The suspect, who is the driver of the vehicle alleged to have caused the accident, has been taken into custody, and the incident is being investigated meticulously in all its aspects."
