Tragic accident on the Ankara-Istanbul road: 5 dead, 15 injured
In the Kahramankazan district of Ankara, a private public bus crashed into a bridge pier, resulting in 5 deaths and 15 injuries.

In an incident that occurred in the Saray area of Ankara's Kahramankazan district, the driver of a private public bus with license plate 06 HO 1460, traveling in the direction of Kızılcahamam, lost control of the steering wheel. The bus hit the barriers, swerved, overturned, and came to a stop after crashing into a bridge pier.

Upon notification by bystanders, fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the area. Fire crews extracted the injured trapped in the vehicle and handed them over to medical teams. Examinations determined that 5 people, including the driver, lost their lives at the scene.
The 15 injured individuals were transported to hospitals by ambulance after receiving initial treatment at the scene. The damaged bus was removed from the site with the help of a crane.
Police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
