The tragic news of 24-year-old Infantry Contracted Private Ziyar Koparan, who was martyred when a military vehicle on patrol duty overturned in the Aralık district of Iğdır, was delivered to his family living in the Kızılpınar neighborhood of Tekirdağ's Çerkezköy district.

A Turkish flag was hung in front of the house where the martyr's family resides. Following the news, Koparan's relatives and neighbors gathered around the house to offer their condolences.

There was a heavy turnout of people offering condolences around the house where martyr Ziyar Koparan's family lives in Çerkezköy.

Çerkezköy District Governor Nazmi Günlü and Çerkezköy Brigade Commander Brigadier General Günal Budak also visited the martyr's family to convey their condolences.

FUNERAL CEREMONY TO BE HELD IN YÜKSEKOVA

District Governor Günlü announced that, in accordance with the family's wishes, the funeral ceremony will be held in Yüksekova, Hakkari, the hometown of the Koparan family.

We have one martyr as a result of a military vehicle accident in Iğdır. The martyr's mother and father reside in our district. From the moment we received the news of the martyrdom, we have been trying to be with them and share their pain. In accordance with the family's wishes, the funeral will be buried in their hometown of Yüksekova. We will see them off there in the morning. The funeral will travel from Iğdır to Yüksekova. The ceremony will be held in Yüksekova.

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş also conveyed her condolences for martyr Koparan in a message she published on her social media account.
