Travel ban for Sadettin Saran
A travel ban and judicial control measures have been imposed on businessman Sadettin Saran, who is under investigation for alleged illegal betting.

Businessman Sadettin Saran had previously provided a statement as part of an illegal betting investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Regarding reports in some media outlets that Saran had been detained, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had issued a statement: "The individual mentioned in an investigation conducted by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office provided his defense on December 26, 2024, regarding allegations that illegal betting advertisements were displayed during a match broadcast via a media group owned by him. There is no situation involving detention."

In the investigation conducted into Sadettin Saran over illegal betting allegations, the criminal judgeship of peace decided to impose a judicial control measure including a 'travel ban'.
The investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Saran for allegedly encouraging illegal betting is ongoing.
In this context, the Istanbul 8th Criminal Judgeship of Peace ruled today for the implementation of a judicial control measure in the form of a 'travel ban' against Saran.
