IS NORTHERN CYPRUS UNDER ISOLATION?
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is isolated from the world in political and sporting terms and is kept out of international competitions. Turkey has been struggling for many years to overcome the process of the TRNC being isolated and excluded in the sporting arena. The Greek side, however, does not recognize the TRNC and actively works to prevent its recognition in the political and sporting spheres.
