TRNC Health Minister Dinçyürek: The President's medical examinations are ongoing

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek announced that no risky findings were detected in the angiography performed on TRNC President Tufan Erhürman, who was hospitalized due to complaints of back pain and sweating. Dinçyürek stated that Erhürman's general health condition is good, but that examinations are continuing for a definitive assessment.

TRNC Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek made a statement regarding the health condition of TRNC President Tufan Erhürman, who was taken to the hospital after falling ill during an event he was attending.

Dinçyürek stated that Erhürman's angiography results came back clear and his general health condition is good, but that further examinations will continue.

"No anomalies seen in contrast-enhanced tomography"

Dinçyürek stated that Erhürman was taken by ambulance to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital at approximately 21:00 local time with complaints of back pain and intense sweating, noting that these symptoms initially raised the possibility of a heart condition. Explaining that the necessary tests were performed upon his arrival at the hospital, Dinçyürek said that no anomalies were found in the contrast-enhanced tomography performed. Following this, Dinçyürek stated that President Erhürman was taken for an angiography, noting that they checked for any conditions that could pose a risk in the coronary arteries. Emphasizing that the angiography also resulted in clear findings, Dinçyürek expressed his satisfaction that no heart-related issues were detected.

"General condition is good, examinations will continue"

Stating that President Erhürman's preliminary tests came back clear and his general health condition is good, Dinçyürek said, "However, his examinations are not yet complete; we will continue with the other tests."

In his statement, Dinçyürek thanked all the healthcare workers involved in Erhürman's treatment, especially the doctors, and conveyed his best wishes for a speedy recovery to Erhürman, adding that they would continue to inform the public about his health status.
