TRT backs down after Mansur Yavaş reacts! That report has been removed

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş gave a sharp response to TRT Haber's report titled "Waterless days await the capital." Following TRT's post regarding ASKİ's water cut plans, Yavaş stated that this report misled the public and caused panic.

In his call to TRT, Yavaş said, "We strongly condemn this report, which was served by distorting the facts and inciting panic among the public. Correct your manipulative report immediately." Following this statement, TRT withdrew the report in question.

Mansur Yavaş also made statements regarding ASKİ's water management strategy. Emphasizing that the practice is a technical necessity, Yavaş said, "The meaning of ASKİ's sentence 'we will provide water in a controlled manner, especially during hours of low water consumption' is as follows: It is a technical procedure carried out in all cities around the world that are struggling with drought."
