'Trustee' scuffle in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey

A 'trustee' scuffle broke out between AKP and DEM Party members in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

Protests and the occupation of the podium by DEM Party members regarding the appointment of a trustee to the Hakkari Municipality continued in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

While AKP deputies chanted 'Down with the PKK', DEM Party members shouted slogans of 'Shoulder to shoulder against fascism' from the podium.

As deputies exchanged verbal barbs, the atmosphere grew tense, and a scuffle broke out among the lawmakers.
