The distribution of vehicles registered to traffic in February is as follows:

motorcycles 43.7 percent, automobiles 39.7 percent, small trucks 9.4 percent, tractors 3.8 percent, trucks 2.1 percent, minibuses 0.8 percent, buses 0.4 percent, and special-purpose vehicles 0.1 percent.

During this period, the number of vehicles registered to traffic increased by 59.4 percent for tractors and 40.5 percent for motorcycles, while it decreased by 38.0 percent for special-purpose vehicles, 32.2 percent for small trucks, 32.1 percent for automobiles, 24.1 percent for minibuses, 22.6 percent for trucks, and 15.7 percent for buses.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the number of vehicles registered to traffic showed an increase of 77.6 percent. There was an increase of 130.4 percent in motorcycles, 110.1 percent in minibuses, 65.8 percent in buses, 63.8 percent in automobiles, 38.1 percent in special-purpose vehicles, 29.2 percent in trucks, 24.7 percent in small trucks, and 16.4 percent in tractors.

As of the end of February, the total number of vehicles registered to traffic reached 29 million 142 thousand 942. Automobiles accounted for 52.9 percent of these vehicles, motorcycles for 17.9 percent, small trucks for 15.6 percent, tractors for 7.5 percent, trucks for 3.3 percent, minibuses for 1.8 percent, buses for 0.7 percent, and special-purpose vehicles for 0.3 percent.

In February, 76 thousand 904 automobiles were registered to traffic. The distribution of these automobiles by brand is as follows: Renault 12.9 percent, Fiat 10.3 percent, Chery 7.5 percent, Toyota 7.2 percent, Volkswagen 5.7 percent, Hyundai 5.7 percent, Peugeot 5.0 percent, Dacia 4.9 percent, Skoda 4.9 percent, Opel 4.3 percent, Citroen 4.1 percent, Mercedes-Benz 3.6 percent, Ford 3.3 percent, Nissan 2.9 percent, MG 2.0 percent, Honda 2.0 percent, Audi 1.8 percent, Kia 1.7 percent, BMW 1.6 percent, Volvo 1.1 percent, and other brands 7.4 percent.

In the January-February period, 407 thousand 93 vehicles were registered to traffic. While there was a 51.2 percent increase in the number of vehicles registered to traffic compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of vehicles withdrawn from traffic increased by 29.5 percent to 4 thousand 553 units. Thus, the total number of vehicles in traffic increased by 402 thousand 540 units in the January-February period.
