As red meat production and consumption decrease due to high inflation and the rising cost of living, producers are turning toward chicken production.

Across Turkey, chicken meat production increased by 5.6 percent in August compared to the same month last year, reaching 214 thousand 432 tons, while chicken egg production rose by 2.8 percent to 1 billion 808 million 368 thousand units.
