Tunç Soyer speaks out: 'Put yourself in Kemal Bey's shoes, it is hard to face betrayal from those close to you'

Former Mayor of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, Tunç Soyer, spoke for the first time since the March 31 local elections. Former Mayor of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, Tunç Soyer, spoke to Candan Yıldız from T24 for the first time since the March 31 local elections.

Stating that he never considers quitting politics, Soyer noted that grievances have been discussed and left behind, adding, "I am focused on the future, not on my grievances."

Soyer also stated that he has met with the 7th Chairman of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, and that they have exchanged ideas.
