Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu points to the 'Constitution game' being played over CHP: Either a new constitution or prison

Journalist and 12punto columnist Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu made a striking assessment on his social media account regarding an interview given by DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan.

Following the announcement of an AKP-DEM and MHP alliance by AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, eyes have turned to the DEM Party and the statements expected from that front. While there is talk that the AKP has formed such an alliance to pass a new constitution, DEM Party officials state that there is no such alliance between them and the AKP. 

However, the expressions they use in their interviews indicate that the process is heading toward a 'New Constitution' cooperation. 

Journalist and 12punto columnist Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu also pointed to the statements made by DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan in an interview through a post on his social media account. 

Highlighting Bakırhan's words: "I would like to say this to Mr. İmamoğlu.

The reason he is inside is because we look from our own perspective. If the CHP is at the table, perhaps İmamoğlu will be outside.

Perhaps all political prisoners will be outside.

Because there will be law, there will be democracy, there will be justice," Mollaveisoğlu commented as follows:

"Either a new constitution or prison! 

Since the first day, I have been writing and explaining that the whole issue is to get the CHP to sit at the table… 

From the moment the unlawful operations against the CHP began, we made them headlines in my TV programs. 

Those who set up the game have agreed on a new constitution with the AKP-MHP-DEM party leadership!

They carried out operations like rain to 'persuade' the CHP. Finally, the cat is out of the bag. I am not surprised at all! 

You cannot blackmail Turkey's enlightenment forces that defend Atatürk and the Republic's revolutions like this!"
