Data released by AFAD has once again revealed that Turkey is truly an earthquake zone. According to AFAD data, Turkey and its surroundings have been shaken exactly 107 thousand times since February 6, 2023. 

The following statements were included in the announcement made by AFAD: 

"Of these earthquakes evaluated by the AFAD Earthquake Monitoring and Evaluation Center, 73 thousand 402 were aftershocks that occurred in the region following the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes, and 734 earthquakes with a magnitude above 4 have occurred in the region."
