Turkey bids farewell to its martyrs: Aksaray, Giresun, Ordu...

Nine soldiers were martyred in the Operation Claw-Lock region in northern Iraq.

The funeral of martyred Infantry First Lieutenant Gökhan Delen was held in his hometown of Aksaray.

The martyr's body, draped in the Turkish flag, was brought from the Somuncubaba Complex morgue to his family home in the Ereğlikapı neighborhood, where final respects were paid. There, the martyr's relatives wept as they embraced the flag-draped coffin.

The martyr's brother, Okan Delen, attended the ceremony wearing his brother's cap.

After the funeral prayer led by Provincial Mufti Veysel Işıldar, the body of the martyr Delen was laid to rest at the Aksaray Martyrs' Cemetery.

MARTYRED SPECIALIST SERGEANT AHMET KÖROĞLU LAID TO REST IN GİRESUN

Martyred Specialist Sergeant Ahmet Köroğlu was bid farewell on his final journey.

The body of 30-year-old Köroğlu, which was taken from the Görele State Hospital, was brought to Görele Republic Square. There, the martyr's father, Şerif Ali, and mother, Fatma Köroğlu, were comforted by their relatives.

Following the noon prayer led by Provincial Mufti Selçuk Kılıçbay, the body of the martyr Köroğlu was buried in the family cemetery in the district's Çatakkırı village.

In addition to the martyr's family and relatives, the ceremony was attended by Giresun Governor Mehmet Fatih Serdengeçti, Deputy Minister of National Defense Celal Sami Tüfekçi, AK Party Istanbul Deputy and TBMM Administrative Chief Hasan Turan, AK Party Giresun Deputy Ali Temür, MHP Giresun Deputy Ertuğrul Gazi Konal, CHP Giresun Deputy Elvan Işık Gezmiş, IYI Party Trabzon Deputy Yavuz Aydın, Giresun Mayor Aytekin Şenlikoğlu, Giresun Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Özgür Özer, Giresun Police Chief Recep Güzelyazıcı, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations, and citizens.

It was learned that the martyr Köroğlu was single and had 3 siblings.

FUNERAL OF MARTYR MURAT ATAR HELD IN ORDU

The body of the 22-year-old martyr, taken from the Ünye State Hospital morgue, was taken to his family's home in the Bolluk neighborhood of the İkizce district.

After final respects were paid there, a funeral ceremony was held for the martyr Atar in the district square.

The martyr's mother, Selma Atar, and his siblings accepted condolences.

Following the funeral prayer led by Provincial Mufti İsmail Çiçek at noon, the body of Murat Atar was buried in the family cemetery in the Bolluk neighborhood.

In addition to the martyr's family and relatives, the ceremony was attended by Governor Muammer Erol, Deputy Minister of Trade Sezai Uçarmak, AK Party Ordu Deputies Mahmut Özer, İbrahim Ufuk Kaynak, and Mustafa Hamarat, CHP Ordu Deputy Seyit Torun, MHP Ordu Deputy Naci Şanlıtürk, IYI Party Group Deputy Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu, Metropolitan Mayor Mehmet Hilmi Güler, Samsun Garrison Commander Major General Davut Ala, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Senior Colonel Numan Öksüz, Provincial Police Chief Atilla Aksoy, several district governors and district mayors, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations, and citizens.

It was learned that the father of the single martyr Murat Atar, Vahip Atar, had lost his life in a traffic accident in 2021.
