The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has requested information regarding Kurtuluş Demirbaş, who was detained in Saudi Arabia.

It has been reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has requested information from Saudi Arabian authorities regarding the situation of Turkish journalist Kurtuluş Demirbaş, who was reported to have been detained in Saudi Arabia.

According to information obtained from diplomatic sources, the situation of journalist Demirbaş, who had traveled to Saudi Arabia on assignment to cover U19 football matches, was brought to the attention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the evening of July 8.
