Turkey's province with the highest crime rate has been identified... The result is surprising!

Istanbul Governor Davut Gül made statements on journalist Adem Metan's YouTube channel. Governor Gül stated that Istanbul is one of the safest cities in the world and said, "Esenyurt ranks first on Istanbul's crime map."

Gül stated that there have been no unsolved murders in Istanbul for the last four years and said the following:

"There are municipal cameras in small areas. There are police cameras in squares, on roads, and at intersections. Our number of cameras in Istanbul will more than double.

Within the scope of the protocol signed between the Ministry of Interior and ASELSAN, security cameras are being installed at every needed point. This system will both provide deterrence and prevent crimes from remaining unsolved.

Istanbul is one of the safest cities in the world in proportion to its population. There has been a decrease in all types of crime compared to the previous year."

HE ANNOUNCED THE PROVINCE WITH THE HIGHEST CRIME RATE

According to the information provided by Governor Gül, Aydın became the city with the highest crime rate in Turkey with a crime rate of 970 per one hundred thousand. The city with the lowest crime rate was determined to be Adıyaman with a rate of 156 per one hundred thousand.
