The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Turkey's Ambassador to Tel Aviv, Şakir Özkan Torunlar, has been recalled to Ankara for consultations.

In a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated: "Taking into account the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza caused by the Israeli side's refusal to accept ceasefire calls, its continued attacks on the civilian population, and its failure to allow uninterrupted and continuous humanitarian aid, it has been decided to recall our Ambassador to Tel Aviv, Şakir Özkan Torunlar, to Ankara for consultations."
