Turkish Airlines cancels flights in the Middle East
Due to rising tensions in the region and the closure of airspace, some of Turkish Airlines' flights to the Middle East have been canceled.

Recent military conflicts in the Middle East are also impacting international aviation. Following military operations by the US and Israel against Iran, some countries in the region have closed their airspace to flights. In line with these developments, Turkish Airlines (THY) has decided to cancel flights scheduled for certain destinations on its Middle East route.
THY Senior Vice President of Media Relations Yahya Üstün stated that new measures have been implemented due to the closure of airspace by some countries. Üstün said, "Due to the closure of some countries' airspace in the Middle East, our flights to Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Jordan have been canceled until March 2, 2026; our flights to Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman have been canceled for February 28, 2026. Developments in the airspace are being monitored in real-time, and additional flight cancellations may occur."
Passengers can access the most up-to-date information regarding their flights on the airline's official website. Meanwhile, it is noted that further cancellations may occur in the coming days due to the opening and closing of airspace in the region.
