Turkish Airlines pulls 8 Airbus A320 aircraft from service
Following an Operator Alert Bulletin issued by Airbus for all A320-type aircraft worldwide, Turkish Airlines announced that 8 aircraft in its fleet are being evaluated within this scope, that necessary procedures have been carried out, and that operations are continuing safely.

Turkish Airlines Senior Vice President of Media Relations Yahya Üstün announced that Airbus has issued an Operator Alert Bulletin (AOT) covering all A320-type aircraft worldwide. It was stated that 8 A320 aircraft in the THY fleet have been taken under inspection in accordance with the aforementioned notification.
In a post on his social media account, Üstün stated, "An Operator Alert Bulletin (AOT) has been issued by Airbus concerning all A320-type aircraft worldwide. Our 8 A320-type aircraft in our fleet have been evaluated within this scope, and they will be returned to service safely once the procedures in accordance with the relevant instructions are completed. All our operations are continuing safely and without interruption. During this process, we are closely following the instructions of all relevant aviation authorities, especially EASA, and are working in coordination with Airbus to implement the necessary software updates. Passenger safety is always our company's top priority."
