Turkish citizen stranded in Gaza speaks out: 'We are reliving the earthquake here every single minute'

The Israeli Army had issued an evacuation order from the north of Gaza to the south. Palestinians stranded in Gaza are going through difficult times. 

According to a report by BirGün, a Turkish citizen located in Jabalia, 4 kilometers north of Gaza, described their experience as follows:

"DRONES ARE FILMING INSIDE THE HOUSES"

“Authorities in Turkey stated that there is nothing they can do. We are reliving the earthquake we experienced here every single minute. While in Turkey drones are only used on happy days, at weddings, here drones roam the skies and film inside the houses. They are showing people safe passage points. They distributed leaflets to evacuate people from the north to the south. There are 1 million 200 thousand people in the north. Sending these people to the south is madness. There is no life there; people are sheltering in school courtyards. This is what I hear from people who left; they regret having gone. They have started using larger missiles. These missiles can penetrate meters underground. Until last night, 26 of us were staying in a small house; after they left, 16 of us remained. We have neither electricity nor water. We are charging our phones in the car. People have become desperate for a drop of water.”

NO EVACUATION!

In a written statement sent by the Turkish Consulate General in Jerusalem to the families of Turkish citizens stranded in Gaza, it was stated that “there is no evacuation plan, and consultations are being held with Egyptian authorities for the extraction of Turkish citizens from Gaza.”
