The statement released by the Turkish Red Crescent under the heading 'Urgent call for Gaza' is as follows:
''We regret to state that we cannot establish contact with our local team working in Gaza. Unfortunately, no communication channels are working, and we are deeply concerned about all humanitarian aid workers. Humanitarian aid workers, health personnel, and civilians must not be targeted. The call for an "immediate, durable, and sustained humanitarian truce" in Gaza, adopted by the UN General Assembly, must be complied with as soon as possible.''
