In the Republican People's Party (CHP), the moves by the team holding the headquarters administration against local organizations continue to intensify following the "absolute nullity" decision. It has emerged that the party membership of CHP Sinop Provincial Chair Aykut Cem Yalçınkaya, who was previously removed from office by the null and void administration, was deleted before the disciplinary process was completed and even before his defense was taken. Reacting harshly to the decision on his social media account, Yalçınkaya said, "You are not performing the Extraordinary Congress, which is your only duty in the position you came to as a precautionary measure, but you are performing all the actions for which you have no authority."
The liquidation operation against provincial chairs, who are known to be close to the Özgür Özel camp and who declared that they did not recognize the headquarters' dismissal decisions, has reached a new dimension. The membership record of Sinop Provincial Chair Aykut Cem Yalçınkaya, who was referred to disciplinary action with a request for permanent expulsion, was dropped from the system before legal procedures were completed.
"YOU DELETED OUR MEMBERSHIP WITHOUT EVEN TAKING OUR DEFENSE"
Announcing the decision to the public via his social media account, Aykut Cem Yalçınkaya accused the current administration of "lawlessness" and used the following expressions:
"We have learned wrong for years; even though there is an unfinished disciplinary investigation, you have deleted our membership record from the Republican People's Party without even taking our defense. Despite the Absolute Sultan and the Absolute Nullifiers, we will first come to power, and then we will see you off. You are not performing the Extraordinary Congress, which is your only duty in the position you came to as a precautionary measure, but you are performing all the actions for which you have no authority."
"WE WILL DIE AS CHP MEMBERS ALONG WITH OUR SIX PROVINCIAL CHAIR FRIENDS"
Referring to the change movement from three years ago and sending greetings to other provincial chairs who share the same fate as him, Yalçınkaya emphasized that his loyalty to the party is not limited to a membership record:
"Three years ago, we set out saying 'If the Republican People's Party changes, Turkey changes,' and we succeeded."
"I am sure that I, and the other 6 provincial chair friends of ours whom you treated the same way as me, will die as members of the Republican People's Party."
