A leadership struggle has begun within the İsmailağa sect following the appointment of Hasan Kılıç as sheikh after the death of the sect's founder and former sheikh, Mahmut Ustaosmanoğlu.
Cübbeli Ahmet, who has been criticized for exposing the internal affairs of the community during his speeches to the congregation and on Lalegül TV, has added a new statement to his previous ones.
"THEY ARE NO DIFFERENT FROM THE ARCHERS"
In a speech he gave the day before yesterday, Cübbeli Ahmet criticized Sheikh Hasan Kılıç and his team within the sect for failing to keep the promises made to the late sheikh, Mahmut Ustaosmanoğlu. Cübbeli Ahmet cited the Battle of Uhud as an example, recalling that heavy losses were suffered during the war because the archers stationed on the mountain slope did not obey the Prophet's orders. Stating that the Prophet was severely wounded due to the archers who disobeyed orders and that the religion of Islam was nearly destroyed in that battle, Cübbeli Ahmet said, "They are no different from those archers."
Stating that Ustaosmanoğlu's will was not followed, Cübbeli Ahmet used the expressions, "I know a lot, but it is not the time. May God reform them, and may He not grant us the need to say what we know."
