Two consecutive accidents on the TEM Highway in Istanbul: 5 injured

Five people were injured in two separate traffic accidents that occurred on the TEM Highway near Sultanbeyli in Istanbul.

In Istanbul, a car driven by E.Ç., traveling in the direction of Ümraniye on the TEM Highway, rear-ended a vehicle parked on the emergency lane.

Due to the impact, the driver and passenger in the parked car became trapped inside the vehicle.

The 2 people, who were rescued as injured by fire crews called to the scene, were taken to the hospital by ambulance after checks by medical teams.

While police teams took precautions to ensure traffic safety at the scene of the accident, another accident occurred approximately 2 kilometers behind.

A car traveling in the direction of Ümraniye on the highway rear-ended a minibus moving in the same direction after its driver lost control of the steering wheel.

During the accident, 3 people in the car were injured. The injured were taken to the hospital by medical teams called to the scene.

Traffic congestion formed on the highway due to both accidents.

Efforts by teams to remove the vehicles involved in the accidents are ongoing.
