Two people lose their lives in armed attack in Bursa

A tragic incident occurred last night in the Beyazıt neighborhood of Bursa's Yıldırım district. An individual, whose identity has not yet been determined, came to the home of H.D. and Y.D. and began arguing with the couple. At around 01:00, the dispute on 1st Kartal Street quickly escalated into an armed altercation.
According to the information obtained, the individual opened fire with a handgun they had brought with them during the argument. The 40-year-old H.D. and his wife Y.D., who were targeted by the bullets, were critically wounded after being shot in the head. The attacker then fled the scene rapidly.
Upon local residents immediately notifying the authorities, police and medical teams arrived at the scene in a short time. The medical teams determined that the married couple had lost their lives during their examination.
Police teams conducting an investigation at the scene have launched a large-scale search in the area to apprehend the attacker. While the investigation continues meticulously, the couple's relatives and neighborhood residents were deeply saddened.
