Two resignations in the AKP
AKP Çanakkale Provincial Chair Naim Makas and AKP Ağrı Provincial Chair Orhan Güngör announced their resignations from their posts in separate statements.

In his statement, Makas said, "I have completed my tenure as the AK Party Çanakkale Provincial Chair, which I have carried out with great pride and honor for 5 years, with the approval of our Chairman and President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan."
AKP Ağrı Provincial Chair Orhan Güngör also announced that he has resigned from the provincial chairmanship post he has held since January 26, 2023.
In his written statement, Orhan Güngör said, "I am leaving my post as the AK Party Ağrı Provincial Chair, which I have been carrying out with great excitement since 26.01.2023 for the upcoming elections, which are the first and perhaps the most important turning point of the Century of Turkey, with the discretion of our Headquarters and the approval of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan."
