Two trams collide in Güngören: Metro İstanbul issues statement

Two trams collided during a track switch at the Güngören station on the Bağcılar-Kabataş T1 Tram line this morning.
While there were no deaths or injuries in the accident, tram services were suspended for a period. Metro İstanbul issued a statement following the collision.
According to the Metro İstanbul statement, tram services were operated between the Kabataş-Merter Tekstil Merkezi stations until the accident was cleared. Services returned to normal after the trams involved in the accident were removed.
