Two vehicles overturn in Ümraniye
In Ümraniye, an intoxicated driver lost control of his vehicle and struck a car traveling in the right lane. Due to the impact, both vehicles overturned before coming to a stop.

The incident occurred around 02:00 on Erenler Çıkışı Street in the Huzur neighborhood of Ümraniye, Istanbul. According to allegations, Mert İ., who had been drinking, lost control of his vehicle with license plate 34 L 6685 while driving, and under the influence of alcohol, struck the vehicle with license plate 33 BLE 70 driven by Abdullah E., which was proceeding in the right lane.
Due to the impact, both vehicles first hit the median and then overturned before coming to a stop. Three people were slightly injured in the accident.
Other drivers in the vicinity notified emergency services. Upon notification, fire department teams, medical teams, and police units were dispatched to the scene. While the medical teams arriving at the scene transported the injured to Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital, police teams launched an investigation into the incident.
