The mysterious radio station known as the "Doomsday Radio," UBV-76, has once again captured attention. It appears that this station is maintaining its mystery once more with its unusual and indecipherable messages.
It is reported that the radio station has been broadcasting 24 messages daily in recent days, and it is claimed that it generally only shares intelligible words before critical events.
The Russian-based newspaper “Argumenty i Fakty” shared the details of the broadcasted messages. It was stated that the first message received was “ABC,” followed by the words “Hunhuz” and “Nanayka.” Later, interesting words such as “pankosvod,” “oneurost,” “latograch,” and “gehenna” were announced. The final message was stated to have been broadcast at 17:14 Moscow time.
THE CONSTANT BUZZING SOUND: UBV-76
Known worldwide and also referred to as the “Buzzer,” this radio is recognized for the continuous buzzing sound it broadcasts 24/7. However, the fact that it occasionally shares intelligible words or messages makes it a legend for amateur radio enthusiasts.
A MYSTERY WOVEN WITH LEGENDS
There is much speculation surrounding UBV-76. According to some beliefs, the station only broadcasts special messages during critical periods. For example, it is said that on February 20, 2022, four days before Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, the words “nzhti” and “lesoled” were heard. On February 22, the messages “nyukhostik” and “unpreventable” were recorded.
PURPOSE AND HISTORY UNCERTAIN
It is not exactly known when UBV-76 began its broadcasting life. However, some sources suggest that the station has been in operation since 1975. Despite this, the lack of an official purpose for the station leads to various theories regarding what UBV-76 is used for and what it represents.
With its mysterious messages and timing, UBV-76 continues to remain an unsolved enigma.
