As claims grow that Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya will be the AKP's candidate for IMM Mayor, journalist Uğur Dündar has made a noteworthy statement.

There is less than 6 months left until the local elections to be held on March 31, 2024. While there is curiosity about whether alliances will be formed on the opposition front, the AKP is planning to retake the metropolitan municipalities it lost in 2019, especially Istanbul.
